Samury314 Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I updated from 1.14.0 Beta 4 to Beta 7 and it logged me out of Vortex (and deleted all shortcuts to launch Vortex). When I logged back in all of my information was wiped; games, installed mods, everything. Is there a way I can make Vortex load my previous profile so I don't have to reinstall hundreds of mods? I know from past problems the information is all there. If I try to add a game it will say there is already a profile and it needs to erase it.
Zanderat Posted June 8 Posted June 8 FWIW, I am on beta 7 and didn't have this issue. Maybe his AV is interfering?
Staff Nagev Posted June 9 Staff Posted June 9 @Samury314 - Vortex shouldn't be asking you to erase profiles unless it was told to unmanage the game. Can you please attach a screenshot of the "erase profile" dialog you mentioned? Vortex stores its files in `%appdata%/vortex`. Installing a Vortex update should never cause it to try and erase its own data; are you perhaps using some sort of cloud storage application like OneDrive?

Sorry, I was taking care of my parents place and away from the computer. Here is what I get when I try to add a game back to Vortex. The games are all on my local drives, as are the deploy folders. How do I prevent Vortex from purging my hundreds of Oblivion mods?
