Failed to add mods to mods file error

Would anyone know how I can clear this error message? It pops up every time I try to deploy my mods. Everything is running fine, I just don't want to see these messages anymore.

@Nagev - Might want to look into this as I've seen this error come up a few times now.

@EyeWish - You can get around this temporarily by creating the file at the path shown.

Thanks Chemboy1, Ill try the temp suggestion and see if Nagev comes back with anything.

I might add, the game was crashing a lot after I installed Ue4ss manually ( as per web suggestion) and Vortex kept prompting me to install it as well. So I uninstalled it manually and then let vortex install it again.  This may be the reason behind this error.

Update. I decided to uninstall and then reinstall all my mods in Vortex. During this process about 5 mods came up with the above error message. These were all  mods that required UE4SS to run.

I manually installed those mods and removed any vortex references in the mods folders. This fixed the issue. Vortex no longer recognizes these mods, hence there are no more error messages.

I don't know if this is an issue with my Vortex setup, or with UE4SS, but at least I do not have to worry about the error reports any longer,

Looks like the UE4SS mod page maintainer opted to remove the mods.json file for some reason. I'll change the extension to generate the file itself. AFAIK the mods.txt file variant is being phased out by the UE4SS team.
